Everyone has their own favorite coffee. You obviously have to use your favorite coffee for this smoothie. It doesn’t need to be a particular coffee. If you like to grind your own coffee beans, that would be perfect.
- 1 cup chilled brewed coffee
- 1 ½ chunked banana
- 1 cup fat-free plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tsp honey
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp ground flax seed
- ¼ tsp grated nutmeg
You can grind your coffee at night, so it would be ready for the morning. A strong coffee is good for this smoothie. But, you can also add a little sugar or cream. However, when you want to lose weight, it would be best if you have a bold black coffee as it already contains caffeine.
Make a cup of coffee while preparing the remaining ingredients for the smoothie. Avoid blending the hot coffee because we will add ice cubes. You better wait for some minutes to get the coffee chilled.
